Frequently Asked Questions

Thai massage is an ancient healing practice that combines assisted yoga stretches,
acupressure, and rhythmic compression. Traditionally performed fully clothed on a floor mat, it
focuses on improving flexibility, energy flow, and overall wellness.
Guests who are new to Thai massage often choose our Thai Combination Oil Massage, which
blends Western massage techniques with traditional Thai movements to provide both deep
relaxation and active recovery.

Thai massage can reduce muscle tension, improve circulation, increase flexibility, relieve
stress, and support better posture. Many clients also find it helpful for back pain, hip tightness,
and overall relaxation.

Clients remain fully clothed during Thai massage. We recommend wearing loose, comfortable
clothing (like yoga or athletic wear) that allows for stretching and movement.
Our Thai Combination Oil Massage blends soothing oil techniques with traditional Thai
stretching. Clients typically remain in undergarments and are fully draped for privacy and
comfort throughout the session.

Thai massage uses deep pressure and stretching, which may feel intense if you have tight
muscles but should never be painful. Your therapist will adjust techniques to your comfort, and
we encourage feedback at any time.

Most sessions last 60 to 120 minutes. A 60-minute massage is great for targeted relief, while a
120-minute session allows more time for longer targeted full-body work and deeper relaxation.

At this time, we do not offer Registered Massage Therapy (RMT) services and are unable to
provide receipts for insurance claims due to Canadian health coverage policies. Our focus is on
traditional Thai massage and holistic wellness.

For safety reasons, we are unable to provide Thai massage to pregnant clients. We
recommend speaking with your healthcare provider about prenatal massage options that are
specifically designed for pregnancy.

It depends on your goals. For stress relief and relaxation, we recommend a 75-minute session
once a month. For chronic pain, stiffness, or athletic recovery, weekly or bi-weekly 60-minute
sessions are more effective. Our 90–120-minute treatments are ideal if it has been a while since
your last visit, allowing therapists to reassess and focus on specific areas that need extra care.

Yes. Thai massage targets key areas of tension in the back, shoulders, and hips. It can help
release tight muscles, improve mobility, and promote better posture—making it effective for
people with back or neck discomfort.

We suggest arriving a little early to unwind, staying well hydrated, and avoiding heavy meals
beforehand. Because Thai massage works deeply to release tension, you may feel some extra
soreness if you have recently done strenuous activity. This is a natural part of the body’s healing
and recovery process.

We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your
appointment. Late cancellations and no-shows may be subject to a fee, as this time is reserved
especially for you and impacts our scheduling.

We encourage booking in advance to secure your preferred time. Same-day appointments may
be available depending on therapist availability, but walk-ins are not guaranteed. Online booking
or calling ahead is the best way to confirm a session.
